Never get my entire order
The concept is great, but this service isnt what it could be. I work a very busy schedule and getting to the grocery store is difficult. I didnt mind paying a little more for items or paying for the tip that Amazon suggests for the delivery, as it is so hard for me to get to a store. I have placed 5 grocery delivery orders so far, all from the same store. The first 2 times I received text messages letting me know certain items in my order were not in stock, despite being available via the app, and I was offered substitutions. Great!
The last 3 times the deliveries have arrived with a number of items missing that I ordered. No text was received and no substitutions were offered. Again, these missing items were available in the app but apparently either excluded from my order or not really available to begin with. The most annoying part is that all 3 times at least one of the items was the main protein(s) of the meals that were missing, meals that I had planned out for the next few days. I was left with a lot of produce/sides and nothing to make for the entree. That defeated the whole point of ordering, as I still had to go to the store each time. I wouldnt recommend using this app unless you plan on having to go to the store anyway, which is cheaper to begin with. Amazon you really need to work on your notification and inventory syncing with your app and orders!
